To reset your Samsung Galaxy S phone to default factory settings for these instructions:
Press and hold the Volume up + Power + Home button:
NOTE: This will bring up a menu.
By using the volume keys navigate to "Wipe data/Factory reset" by selecting this option your mobile phone will be restored to its default settings.
