HTC Phone On Table

If someone calls your phone and your phone is left unanswered, the call will automatically go into your phone’s pre-set voicemail inbox. So if you’re not interested in setting up a personal greeting or changing any of your voicemail settings, including setting up a password, you can leave this as it is - don’t worry, you’ll never miss a call (we do strongly advise you set a password, however).

If you’re using your phone for business purposes, or you want to create a personal voicemail message, or perhaps you just want to understand the voicemail settings on your HTC One, please follow the steps below.

Step one: Unlock your phone and navigate to the phone icon and ensure the keypad is open.

Step two: The number one on your keypad should have the voicemail symbol - two circles, joined by a line at the bottom - hold this button down. If your phone doesn’t have this symbol, you can still hold down this button to access your voicemail.

Step three: Your phone should automatically begin to call your voicemail inbox

Step four: The voice for your voicemail will talk you through your main menu options.

Step five: When setting up your voicemail for the first time, you will be prompted to enter a password. Setting a password that is both memorable but not too simplistic, is strongly advised to help increase the security of your voicemail messages.

Other settings you can change through the main menu include message forwarding options and help and support options.

NOTE: If you’re on a pay monthly phone plan, accessing your HTC One voicemail can count as a phone call and will, therefore, be taken off your monthly minute allowance.

If you’ve forgotten your password

If you’ve forgotten your voicemail password, you won’t be able to access it until you reset your password. To reset your voicemail password, visit your network provider’s site for support.

Accessing your voicemail inbox abroad

If you need to access your voicemail abroad contact your network provider directly to discuss charges and more.
