How To Wipe The iPhone Back To Factory Settings

If your looking to restore your iPhone or iPad back to factory settings, please follow these simple steps:
Step 1 -
Select Settings, then General.
Step 2 -
Scroll down until you see Reset.
Step 3 -
Click Erase All Content and Settings.
If you have set up passwords you will be asked to enter these before the process can be started.
Step 4 -
You will then be asked to confirm the reset, and when you tap OK it will start the process. After a few minutes you will see the welcome screen.
NOTE: If your iPhone or iPad is having problems, before you factory restore, you could attempt a soft reset, this can be done by holding down the power and home buttons, this doesn't delete and apps or data.
