Using FaceTime On The iPhone

What is FaceTime? FaceTime is Apple's video chat service. It allows anyone with a recent iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, or Mac to make free calls to any other Apple user over Wi-Fi or cellular connection.

If you want to use FaceTime on your iPhone, follow these instructions:

Step 1 - Click on the "Phone" icon on your homepage.

Step 2 - Find the contact in your phonebook you'd like to call using FaceTime.

Step 3 - Click on the contacts name to open his or her contact entry. Then, click on the "FaceTime" button. Alternately, you can just call your contact regularly and then select the "FaceTime" button in the middle of the call.

Step 4 - Finally, wait for your contact to answer & then talk to your contact. Once you’re in a call you will see 3 different options:

  1. Mute the call. (on the left)
  2. End the call. (the middle button).
  3. Switch the camera angle. (on the right)
